The ways that you
can help
In order to serve freely we in turn always need the
support of men and women,
and of churches and groups worldwide. No
deductions are made from any gift
and we make a point of saying
thank you and maintaining personal communication.
1. We welcome words of
support and links to you and your church.
2. We welcome prayer
support from individuals and groups.
3. We welcome practical
help in the translation of languages,
and in administration, publicity, fund releasing and with
computer skills.
4. We welcome financial
support to be able to send others.
There are lots
of creative ways to release funds for mission, for example -
- Regular monthly gifts or single gifts by credit card, cheque or banker's
order.
Click this secure link to send a £ or $ gift by credit card
or to see the address to send a cheque in any currency.
- In the UK Gift Aid adds 28% to any
taxpayer's gift at no extra cost.
- Some major employer's match payroll
deducted gifts pound for pound.
- Making a will is vital anyway, and
including a missionary or mission
means that a person's giving goes on after their life.
- Sponsored activities are very
rewarding to everyone concerned.
Sponsored marathons, walks swims, silences, abseiling,
you name it -
all bring money in and create a lot of fun on the way.
- Unwanted and unneeded goods and gifts
can be sold through car boot sales, church auctions,
garage sales, and for valuable items Wallington
Missionary Auctions in Carshalton send all the proceeds
to the mission of your choice.
- Interest-Free Loans can be made by
people who need the capital for later use, but do not
need the interest. The Trust can invest them with a
guarantee of immediate refund upon request, and can
benefit from the interest gained.
- Grant Making Trusts can be approached
for specific project sponsorship.
It is a job in itself to select the right ones and make
the application.
- Opening a Charity or Thrift Shop, such
as the well known and well loved Oxfam, or Help The Aged
shops is a means of producing a stream of income for
mission as well as providing less well off people with
clothing and furniture.
- Internet Shopping. If you make a purchase from any of
over 200 top class stores
in this UK shopping village for charities, using this
link www.UshopUgive.com the owners will send a gift to The
DCI Trust.
