Geographic
prophecies - And they shall live in their own
land
"Therefore, behold, the days are coming," says the LORD,
"that they shall no longer say, 'As the LORD lives who brought up
the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,' but, 'As the LORD
lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel
from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven
them.' And they shall dwell in their own land."
(Jeremiah
23:7-8)
Psalm
60 - God has spoken from His sanctuary
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will rejoice; I will
divide Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth. Gilead is
Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head;
Judah is My lawgiver. Moab is My washpot; over Edom I will cast My
shoe..." (Psalm 60:6-8).
Obadiah
- The house of Jacob will possess their
possessions...
"For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; as you
have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon
your own head. For as you drank on my holy mountain, so shall all
the nations drink continually; yes, they shall drink, and swallow,

Damascus
destroyed - Panic has gripped her; anguish and
pain
Damascus has grown feeble; she turns to flee, and fear has
seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in
labor. ... Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and
all the men of war shall be cut off in that day," says the LORD of
hosts. "I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall
consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad." (Jeremiah 49:24, 26,27).
War in
Jordan - We have heard of Moab's pride
We have heard of the pride of Moab - he is very proud - of
his haughtiness and his pride and his wrath; but his lies shall not
be so. Therefore Moab shall wail for Moab; everyone shall wail. For
the foundations of Kir Hareseth you shall mourn; surely they are
stricken. (Isaiah 16:6-7).
